This page deals more with the heart of the Penguin then the circulatory system.

The Penguins heart is very simular to the humans heart. Both have 4 lobes,2 ventricles, and 2 atriums. One side deals with oxygeniszed blood and the other deals deoxygenized blood.
The ventricles work much harder then the other two lobes. This is because these two lobes because they either do one of two jobs, pumping the blood throughout the penguin's body or pumping the blood to the lungs to get oxyginized.
The heart speeds up,for the penguin, during energy consuming tasks such as swiming and fighting. It slows down during low energy tasks such as resting and sleeping.
Blood travels from the heart, the central point of this whole system,to all over the penguins body in arteries and returns to the heart in veins.

Through this website you have learned about three parts of the cardiovascular system, the heart, veins, and arteries. Now were moving on to the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is the system collects fluid thats not supposed to be there and it transports it back into regular cirruclation.
